Flying into the Islands

Visitors are able to reach the Falkland Islands from the rest of the world by flying into Mount Pleasant or Stanley Airport, arriving by boat or by cruise ship.

A permit is required to fly into the Islands, and it is important to note that there can be difficulties obtaining permissions for charter and private flights.
