Welcome to the Falkland Islands Public Health Unit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Public Health Unit was established in July 2019 as a dedicated resource focused upon prevention, following the publication and adoption of the Public Health Strategy 2019 \u2013 2021 by ExCo in May 2019. Initially established with the Policy Directorate the Unit was transferred into the Department of Health and Social Services in July 2023. While we have made good progress there is always a lot of work to be done to firmly embed prevention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
