Household Expenditure Survey 2025\/26<\/h1>\n\n\n

The Household Expenditure Survey is a year-long survey in which households are asked to keep a detailed record of all their expenditure for one full month in every quarter. The survey is normally carried out every 5 to 7 years. The main aim of the survey is to get an accurate picture of spending patterns in the Falklands. This information will be used to renew the Retail Price Index (RPI) basket of goods, and to renew the weighting of categories accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new survey will launch in October 2025, and we are looking for households to participate.

If you would like to sign up, please fill out the Form 4<\/strong> and return it to the survey manager, Nadia Knight, on <\/a>nknight@sec.gov.fk<\/a> by no later than Friday 26th<\/sup> September<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have signed up, you should use Forms 1-3<\/strong> to record your expenditure and return them to the survey manager as per the schedule set out in the forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
