The Building Advisor will undertake assessment and approval of building permit applications before works commence. Inspect work on site during construction (there are various notifiable stages which will be detailed on a building permit). Finally, the Building Advisor will issue occupation certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Building Regulations do not provide protection to a client in a contract with a builder. The inspections do not provide a system to control work onsite, this is a matter for the contracts and arrangements put in place between the client and builder. The Building Advisor is available to offer general advice concerning buildings and the Building Regulations.
