The Statute Law Database contains:
- Ordinances in force in the Falkland Islands
- Secondary legislation in force in the Falkland Islands
- United Kingdom laws in force in the Falkland Islands
- European Union laws in force in the Falkland Islands
These laws (“Legislation in Force”) are made up of:
- the complete and up to date text of all Ordinances and secondary legislation in force
- lists of all UK and EU laws in force
Any Falkland Islands legislation made after 31 July 2017 (Ordinances and secondary legislation) will also be included in the form in which the law is made (“Legislation As Made”), as well as being incorporated to update any Legislation in Force.

The Statute Law Database is an authoritative statement of the legislation applying to or in relation to the Falkland Islands by Ordinance. The Statute Law Commissioner must aim to keep the Statute Law Database up to date at all times.
