MARPOL has had a major positive impact in the protection of the marine environment through the prevention of pollution of the marine environment by ships from operational or accidental causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FIMA continues its commitment in supporting the marine operational sector that is in the front line in ensuring the objectives of MARPOL are met. This FIMA does through working closely with the stakeholders with interests, directly or indirectly in the marine industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The safety of life at sea and the protection of the marine environment will always remain the main priority for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a
