Mother and Newborn Care
Maternity care is provided using a combined approach which includes GPs, ultrasonographers and midwives, who work together to provide care for pregnant women. Women who are assessed to have a high-risk pregnancy are recommended to go to the UK for their care, which has to take place by 35 weeks gestation at the latest.
