For safety reasons, dangerous articles such as those listed below, must not be carried in passengers’ baggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compressed gases<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

(Deeply refrigerated, flammable, non-flammable and poisonous) such as butane, oxygen, liquid nitrogen, aqualungcylinders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Corrosives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Corrosives such as acids, alkalis, mercury and wet cell batteries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Explosives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Explosives, munitions, fireworks and flares.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Flammable liquids
and solids<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Flammable liquids and solids such as lighter fuel, MATCHES, paints, thinners, fire-lighters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Radioactive materials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Oxidising materials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Other dangerous articles <\/strong>such as magnetised material, offensive or irritating materials. Medicines and toiletries in limited quantities which are necessary or appropriate for the passenger during the journey, such as hairsprays, perfumes and medicines containing alcohol may be carried.  Many of these listed articles can be carried as air cargo provided they are packed in accordance with cargo regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persons wishing to send Dangerous Goods as freight should contact FIGAS Operations on tel: 27219 prior to bring the freight to FIGAS.  Operations will advise if the freight is suitable for carriage by air.  The consignee is responsible for ensuring the freight is correctly packed in accordance with the IATA Dangerous Goods Instructions and will be required to fill in form DG01 \u2013 Shippers Declaration for Dangerous Goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
