About Court & Tribunal Fees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The fees on this page are valid from 01 August 2025.  All fees are payable in advance unless otherwise stated.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNLESS THE RELEVANT FEE IS PAID. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, PLEASE CONTACT THE COURT STAFF. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are submitting an application via email, please review the court holding policy regarding fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note, the forms indicated in the tables below are indicative only and is not an exhaustive list.  The Action gives rise to the liability to pay a fee, not the form filed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 4 ways to make payment<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Cash payment at the court office<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Local cheque payment at the court office<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Card payment at the court office<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Local or international Bank transfer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Holding Policy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To facilitate the submission of forms via email, the courts have a ‘holding policy’ for paperwork which requires a payment of a fee.  If you submit a form electronically, you will be given three (3) working days to send payment to the office, or make payment via bank transfer.  Please note, your paperwork will not be processed until confirmation of payment is received.  If payment is not confirmed within three (3) working days, your paperwork will be deleted from the court system.  Once paperwork is deleted it will not be recoverable by court staff and it will need to be resubmitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How to confirm payment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. send a picture\/scan of proof of payment to enquiries@courts.gov.fk<\/a> and make it clear in your email what the payment is for;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. pay at the court office during working hours or present proof of payment to the court office; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. send a cheque through the post to the court office.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Do not send cash or transfer slips through the post<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Please note:<\/strong><\/em> it may take up to three (3) working days for the treasury to notify the department of payment from the date you make the payment.  It is advised, to prevent unnecessary delay to your paperwork, that you ensure you inform the court as soon as possible when you have made payment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Court Fee Waiver Scheme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The court fee waiver scheme allows the Head of Courts to waive court fees that payable in certain civil and family court proceedings.  You may be entitled to a court fee waiver if you are not reasonably able to pay the court fee or if the proceedings for which the fee is payable<\/p>\n\n\n\n
